This week we welcome Brooke Cross & Greta Jones to Room 1.

School Interviews
Monday 11 April from 1.15pm and Tuesday 12 April from 3.15pm. Please note school will close on Monday at 12.30pm. As in previous years these are 3 way interviews for 15 minutes each.

Lost Property
This will be displayed in the foyer everyday next week. Please check if something belongs to your family. Items not collected will be taken to the Vincent De Paul society.

This is the last weekend when we have children rostered on for this term. However, Father is always looking for volunteers throughout the weekends of the holidays. If your child is an altar server and they are at mass during the break please encourage them to volunteer at the masses they attend.

Room 2 Class Happenings

We have been learning to use the laptops. We have learned how to carefully carry the laptops, how to turn them on and how to log in to Room 2.

We have also learned that you only use one finger at a time on the mousepad, otherwise it doesn't work, and you click the mousepad at the bottom. We practised using the mousepad in Photo Booth, and made some really silly photos. Some of them are up on our classroom door for you to see.



We have also been learning about talking bubbles and thinking bubbles, and we have used this knowledge to make a comic of ourselves. Here are some examples:








Southland Basketball Holiday Camp 7 – 13 yrs
Tuesday 19 & Wednesday 20 April @ James Hargest College Gym 9 am – 3 pm.
Players to bring their own lunch & drink bottle. $50 per player.

Westpac Emergency Services Open Day
Sunday 17th April, Gala Street Reserve, 11 am – 3 pm
Displays by 9 different associations. eg. Helicopters, Police & Fire Dept,
St John and many more. Sausage Sizzle, Face Painting, Coffee, Bouncy Castle, Tug of War, Helicopters etc etc!

Garage Sale - West Plains Hall on Saturday from 8.30 am – 12 pm.
