Dear Parents
It was good to finally have a fine Easter break, though the three days this week really do feel like five.
Please take note of the “Community Day” we are having on Thursday 17th April at the stadium. This is a celebration of the Community Inquiry Unit we have been working on this term. We hope as many parents as possible are able to join us on this day.

TEACHER ONLY DAY ~ MONDAY 14TH APRIL

ERO VISIT ~ The Education Review Office will be visiting us for the week of 7th April.

ASSEMBLY ~ Our school assembly will now be on Fridays at 2.15 p.m.

COMMUNITY CERTIFICATES

SOUTHLAND ATHLETICS
We have finally got the names for the Athletic Sports next Saturday 5th April. Times will be sent out next week and the children will be practising at school. These are the children who reached the qualifying mark not necessarily those who were placed on the day:

7 year olds: Sam Hogan - 100m Samuel Thornbury - 60m, 100m
Abby Humm - 60m, 100m Bree Chilton - 60m

8 year olds: Keegan Fiebig - 100m Sophie Reitsma-Smith - 60m, 100m, Long Jump

9 year olds: Olivia Thornbury - 100m, relay Daniel Hogan - 100m, 800m, 1500m, H/J
Caitlin Russell - High Jump, relay Cassidy Mackie - 200m, 800m, 1500m, relay
Maddison - relay

10 year olds: Tatiana Conway - 100m Tammy Honotapu - 100m

YEAR 5 & 6 NETBALL
Practices will be starting Tuesday 1st April at 2:45pm sharp for all year 5 and 6 girls playing netball.
Please make sure you have let the office know you are interested before Tuesday.

INDOOR SOCCER 4 – 6 YR OLDS MONDAYS, OUTDOOR SOCCER 7 – 8 YR OLDS SATURDAY
$50.00 per team. Starting in May. Names and details to office please.

This was taken by mistake from swimming last week.
