Room 6 Class Happenings

I went to house colour day. I was excited about doing my chant. Doing my chant was fun. I got to hold up a “G” because “G” is a letter in Kavanagh. My Mum and my sister came. I had to wear yellow because Kavanagh is yellow. Kavanagh and Mercy won for the first time. My favourite day is house coloured day. That’s because we get to wear no school uniform. Caleb Wolf

Yesterday it was house colour day. We sang our chants. We did it in the hall. I did it at 1.50pm. My house team is Harrington. My house teacher is Mrs T.K. and my house captain is Bree. Her vice captain is Ashleigh. We had to shout out loud, “Harrington, Harrington”. We are green. It was cool and awesome. Bree sprayed silly string. Devan Fiebig

Yesterday we did house chants. I was Pompallier. We had to shout out loud. We had to wear blue. We threw party streamers. They were blue and people blew up balloons. Some people popped balloons. They were loud popping. We popped the balloons. The house captain was Aiden.
Amy Ingham

On Wednesday it was house colour day. It was very fun and cool. We had it in the hall because it was raining. I am in Harrington. It is a cool house. I like Harrington. Harrington came second and Kavanagh and Mercy came first. Donovan came third. Harrington had a good chant and so did everyone else. The whole school went. I like house colour day because I got to dress up in green. It was very, very, very fun and we got to sing our chants on the stage. It was in the afternoon. I felt happy and excited. I had lots of fun. It was after lunch. I like green. Billy Gutschlag

I went to the chant day. It was fun. My house is Donovan. I think my house chant was cool and I think Tessa’s house was cool too. I like this school. It is cool because it has a house chant. It is awesome. I wished we had it every day because I like chants. I felt happy, very happy. We did it in the hall and we got to go on the hall stage. We went in the afternoon after playtime. I went with the school. Katelyn Maloney

Yesterday was house colour day. I’m in Mercy and my friends are in Donovan but we did not do a tug of war. This time we only did the chants. Mercy and Kavanagh got first place. Harrington got second place and Donovan got third place. I like Donovan’s. I think theirs is the best. Last year’s one that Mercy did was not so good. I felt happy. I think that Mercy and Donovan should have won.
Emma Brooks

Yesterday the school went to the hall to do our chant. My team was called Pompallier. It was with our school. It was fun. Donovan was best dressed. Mercy and Kavanagh had the best chant. I thought we were going to have tug of war in the hall and sack races in the hall. I wish we could do it outside so we could have the tug of war and sack races. We’re going to have tug of war and sack races today. I hope Pompallier wins the tug of war. We are going to have tug of war and sack races on our big field out by the fitness play ground. I can’t wait to have tug of war and sack races. The team that wins the most games of tug of war versus the teachers. Jakobe Paraki

Yesterday we went to the school hall to do our house chants. My house was Kavanagh. We came first for the house chant and so did Mercy. Harrington came second and Donovan came third. The whole school did it. It was too wet outside so we did not do tug of war and sack races. We are doing it today after lunch at quarter past one. Our colour was yellow. I felt happy because I had a good time. William Robertshawe
