11 March

Dear Parents

Welcome to Zoe Dunick from Christchurch. We hope she enjoys her time with us.

Athletics
Very well done to all the children who took part in our Zone Athletics yesterday.
While we had a lot of excellent results across all ages, I wish to thank all the children for the effort they put into the events. I had the chance to be able to watch a lot of the children and I was very impressed at how hard they tried.
A thank you to the teachers and parents who have instilled and encouraged this ethic. This is something that is noticed each year.

Report Info Night
Thank you to the parents who were able to attend the meeting on Monday. As well as using the forum as an information opportunity, it is also beneficial to our staff to be able to outline our procedures and receive feedback.
I am will to run further evenings or 2pm meetings for groups of parents who were unable to attend. Please let me know if you are interested in this: principal@shsinv.school.nz

All you have to do is register your Fly Buys card at www.meadowfreshdaisies.co.nz and nominate our school. Every time you purchase Meadow Fresh products you need to swipe your Fly Buys card so daisies can be added to our school. Everyone was dressed in their colours. It was amazing! Cory

A reminder please for parents to check for RE homework each week. This to be completed and returned the next day. The books are often required for the next lesson the next day.
