Class Happenings ~ Room 7

As I walked into the door I opened my eyes I was so excited.
On Thursday 11 September 2008 Room7 and Room5 had a class mass, it was so cool we can’t choose a favourite part. We’re going to tell you a little part because if we tell you everything we will be here all day.
Firstly Room 7 did a play. Josh was a prince who was going to be made king, but the messengers didn’t want him to be their king, so he ordered them to be executed. Parents came so it made people nervous.
After that everyone went up to get Eucharist or be blessed. By: Keiren, Josh and Sarayha

“Everybody line up quietly at the door” said Mr Gander.
On Thursday the 11th of September Rooms 5 and 7 had a Class Mass at Sacred Heart Church. “I felt like I was dead when I got my head chopped off” said Bronte. “Guess what my favourite part was?” said William C. “My favourite part was the play but it was all fun.” Clarke said his favourite part was the picnic afterwards in Room 7. By William C, Bronte and Clarke

Oh no my head is going to get chopped off!
On Thursday the 11 of September (2008), we went over to the church to have a class Mass. We had a few songs and readings. Then Room 7 did a little play, Josh was a King and Clarke was Jesus, there were 10 servants and 5 messengers. At the end of the play the messengers got executed! Our favourite part of Mass was the play, because there were lots of little parts in it! By Maria, Chanae, Keegan and Breadon

Oh no! I hope I don’t muck up!!!
On Thursday 11th September 2008 Rooms 7 and 5 gathered into the Church for our Mass.
Willy, Emily and Olivia were the narrators for Room7’s re-enactment. All of us were nervous and excited. When Willy said “After, … no but”! Oh have I got it right, oh golly gosh! He thought to himself. Yay, I’m glad it’s over! That was really fun. By: Olivia, Emily and Willy

The countdown begins!
We’re really excited. Yesterday Rooms 5 and 7 went to Mass.
Our favourite songs were ‘What a Gift and Worthy is the Lamb’. Room 7 did a Bible re-enactment about 10 servants. We had three narrators. They were Emily, Willy and Olivia. Our favourite part was singing our favourite songs. By: Molly, Lee and Jennifer.

The cold air flashes past my face as I walk in the door.
On Thursday the 11th of September 2008 Rooms 7 and 5 had a Class Mass. Parents came from different families across Invercargill for a combined Class Mass. As soon as Father Vince came in everybody stood up for a song. Room 7 had to do a play now. Josh called in 10 servants and gave them some money. The more they got the more cities they got to rule. Then the people who didn’t like the king got their heads chopped off by guards. We felt very happy when the Mass was over because we had a shared lunch with our parents afterwards. By: Michael, Sophie and Erica.

“Brrrrr it’s chilly in here!”
On Thursday the 11th of September 2008 Rooms 7 and 5 had their Class Mass. Room 7 did a play about the Parable of the Ten Servants. We saw lots of our family and friends. We had a picnic lunch with our family. The best part was putting on a play. By Brittany, Callum and Parris

Man this King is so mean!!! We were thinking. The King called up the 10 servants. “Here is your 10 dollars” said the King. Man this King is SO COOL!!! We thought.
On Thursday the 11th of September at 11:30am Room 7 started to do their play in the freezing cold church. Then the Narrators started to say their parts, and then it was over. Our favourite parts were getting the money. By: the poor and rich servants AKA Briar, Meg and Shaun.
