5 February 2008
Dear Parents
Welcome back to Sacred Heart for the 2008 year. We hope you all had good holidays and that this fine spell of weather continues. Please ensure your child has a named sunhat at school each day.
We welcome our new children: Cory Foleni, Jacob Sullivan, Oliver Kite, Joshua Cooper (all New Entrants) and Dani Terrill-Clay (Room 9) and their families to our school.
Also a big welcome to Tania McKenzie and Anna Russell to our staff, who will be teaching in Rooms 5 & 7 respectively.
The children in Room 5 are also lucky to have Tarryn Black from the College of Education in their class this year.

SCHOOL MAINTENANCE
Thanks to the Catholic Property Office and Foveaux Communications who carried out stage 1 of a Network Upgrade. This involves installing the latest cabling and switches for our school computer network. They also increased the number of power outlets in each room which has been excellent. Stage 2 will take place next Monday when everything will be connected up. Also due to borer damage, the floor in Room 7 was replaced.
As part of our property plan the floors in the pupil’s toilet were re-sealed in preparation for an upgrade at the end of the year.
